Grungy Cardboard Tags are Here!

I've been a bit slow releasing new products because of my busy summer schedule but I finally got a new one for ya. Here it is!!!



You can find it HERE at the Ahhh Scrap store. For only $2.49 you get 15 tags, 2 strings, and even the background paper you see in the preview. The tags are also desaturated so that you can color them any way you want using the hue/saturation sliders or even leave them gray.

Photoshop Tip of the Day

Have you ever seen a color you like on a webpage that you wish you could grab to use in Photoshop? I had that happen to me a million times and I never could exactly replicate the color until I learned this tip.

You will want to make Photoshop smaller so that you can see the color that you want but still have Photoshop open and in front. Select your eyedropper tool and hold it over the gray areas around the canvas in Photoshop. Next, hold down the left button of the mouse. Now you can move the eyedropper out of Photoshop and over the color that you want. Now let go of the mouse button and your color will be selected in Photoshop.

I find myself using this a ton. I hope it helps you out. I haven't tried this in PS Elements but I have a feeling it would work.

Why I'm Here

My whole life I've been obsessed with being creative. I always have to have a design outlet to channel my feelings into. For about a year now I've been using Photoshop nonstop and have been into photo editing and graphic design.

Recently though I have found the big world of digital scrapbooking. I started doing it to cheer up a friend who was pregnant with a sick baby. That was all it took for me to get hooked.

I knew soon after that I had to be a bigger part of the picture and I started designing products. I was lucky enough to find a store that is starting up soon(June 23 actually, so close!). You can visit the store at www.ahhhscrap.com but it's not up yet. The blog is up and running with lots of freebies though. You can see it at http://ahhhscrap.blogspot.com.

I wanted to start a blog to share with everyone my products, my thoughts on digital scrapbooking, any freebies I have(I plan to have a lot), tutorials, etc. Stay tuned for all of that and more!
